Debi Hron knew at age five she would follow in her father’s footsteps. As a child she painted on anything she could get her hands on, walls, rocks, paper, furniture.
“I remember Dad showing me how to draw cartoons when I was very small, I think that is where my whimsical side was birthed.” Growing up in Florida where flowers bloom year round, the grass is always green and skies are blue gave her endless days of inspiration.
Debi began licensing in 1984 and her designs are found on fabrics, calendars, paper products, dinnerware, gift collectibles, textiles and more.
After raising her son Ben, Debi realized another dream and now resides in Vermont. In her 130 yr old Victorian house that she has painted many different colors, Debi continues to create a world of color. When not at the drawing board Debi may be found out in her garden, hiking up a mountain or any other wild and colorful place.
Her motto “Live your life like a work of art” is painted above her front door in bright colors. She strives to do just that and encourages others find their passions as well.
